Metabolism are the chemical processes inside the cells of living organisms .A complex process that has taken years to understand and for scientists to define. The metabolism is affected by many things including the amount of muscle and fat your body possess. All life forms that use cells have a metabolism, and in some cases continues after death of he organism.
Exercise affects the way your body behaves ,as well as the type of food you would eat the needs of your body changes as your activities and nutrition types and scarcity does.The metabolic pathways are the complex reactions that occur for cell metabolism , including the usage of cellulose , which is normally a great contributor to health .This is often the plants and vegetation that we eat or are are unknowingly absorbed.

The liver is also an important factor , as with the accumulation of plasma process of transposing an amino group within a chemical compound or from one compound to another type (transamination), a product from muscles , which produces urea. this also includes a colorless acid formed as an important intermediate in metabolism,via gluconeogenesis (GNG) which is by production oxidised or converted to glucose.

Metabolism, or the changing of one organic substance to another (simplified term), is many different but the same processes in different examples, for instance, with a seed , the fat it stores ,  that we and animals covet for food, is needed for germination, and this process of “metabolism” is the conversion from the fat to sugars to glucose.Essentially this is the conversion from one organic form to a form the plant requires , and on consumption by animals , reconverted to a form that animal will use .In weight loss , substances can be used in many ways , such that a protein can be used for tissue growth or can be altered to be used as fuel , if no other fuel is available.In body building , this is the way in which a lean body can be sculpted.The ingestion of solely boiled chicken , will help the body burn all fat below the skin , leaving the muscle tissue alone.This changing of burning calories , alters the metabolism and can be coaxed into a personal preference, as well as choosing a type of exercise that will use up body fat or sugar.The training of the metabolism is a tricky thing to master, to alter the way the body manages all the resources we consume , to produce a desired result.

Metabolism comprises of anabolism and catabolism , which are both pysical and chemical.
Anbolism is the re-manufacture of source into protoplasm for growth, whereas catabolism is the breakdown of more complex organic matter into a usable of desired format with or for a release of energy.
To think the process of digestion is the way we eat food is only a small part of the picture , absorption of organic mass merely starts in the stomach, and continues throughout the body , mostly at cellular levels, even with the assistance of bacteria, ending with the removal of waste.

With regard to metabolic requirements, this has some effect on the amount of muscle one has , and is accepted to be that the more muscle  you would have the more fuel; you will use in a normal time period , compared to someone of lower muscle mass or with a high amount of fat .This is not completely correct , as we alter our metabolic rate through time of day we exercise , frequency of meals , components of a meal, even the climate we live in, and even the natural stamina you may have inherited , such as low heart rates or lung size , etc..
